Yeah im not totally dissapointed with our start to the season, but surely 3 points against Burnley at home infront of a sell out crowd would be nice ? I have had faith in Hughes for quite awhile, i believe that sticking with a manager for a sustained period is much more crucial than chopping and changing every year. On the Gareth Barry matter, i think Hughes must of seen something in him that day, that i didnt, i thought bringing on a pair of fresh, defensive legs like De Jong would of really done us good in keeping the 3-2 lead, but hey, im not the manager am i,lets hope for 3 big points at anfield next weekend!

Hi Hartleymcfc09 - Jake. Thank you for your show of support. To be honest I think you re doing just fine. Well I guess we re just being sincere here. As Man City fans, we want to see Man City play good football like the way Arsenal play against Wolves. However I think no matter what Mark Hughes is the man. His decision is very crucial to Man City's success. Thus I wonder if Gareth Barry work rate was not up to his usual mark, why was he not substituted then?

Agree with most points here to be honest. I hate to see us playing this long ball to adebayor constantly in matches and he hardly even wins the header! However, i believe Gareth Barry has been brilliant in midfield but since the villa game, he seems to have had a dip in confidence, so i hope a break with England will do him good. With Stevie Ireland yet to impress me this season, i hope he can also recapture the form of player of the year from last season. Quick question mancityfans, what did you think of my report ? just wondering what people think of it lol

This is yet another disappointment for Man City esp for the fans. It was really frustrating and unthinkable to see Burnley scoring 3 goals at Man City homeground. This reminds me of 'a small club with small mentality' remarked by Sir Alex. Maybe it was directed at Mark Hughes since Man City is not a small club. Mark Hughes is too boring for City. I think Man City is more capable of playing good attacking football instead of playing the long ball and then losing ball possession in the process. Gareth Barry has not been very effective in the midfield. As playmaker, he lacks vision and is not creative in the attack. He is slow, not good in the air, and seldom/never hold on to the ball. Steven Ireland/Tevez makes a better choice. For the sake of the club, I hope and anxious to see City playing possessive football and a good playmaker. To make it happen, the time of change for City is now!
